Each year, the LEARN disABILITY Summit brings together caregivers, educators, service providers, community organizations, and families for a day of connection, resources, and learning centered on supporting individuals with disabilities. Congratulations to Serenity, who was honored as Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy's Student of the Year for 2026 with the Rotary Club of New London 🏅🎉 Serenity was presented with her award at the Rotary Club Meeting alongside her family and some OALA staff members. She was eager to accept her award and proudly took the mic to share that she helps to take care of her classroom, she loves to make people laugh, and works hard to maker her school a better place! We are incredibly proud to see the growth that Serenity has experienced this year and can't wait to see what her future holds!
